Winter Photos highlight the breathtaking beauty of winter.
Winter PhotosHere is a nice collection of winter photos. They are all in the public domain and are copyright free. Feel free to use them as you will. On the photo gallery pages I will only include public domain images to keep everyone out of trouble.
Sometimes it is hard to find beautiful nature photos free online. But I have found a great resource provided courtesy of the United States government. I use the Fish & Wildlife Service DigitalLibrary System and the National Park Service Digital Image Archives. These images are generally in the public domain and copyright free.
Some of the other images on this site on other pages, have either been purchased or I have taken the photograph myself. In these two cases the image is copyright protected. Please don't take those images without the copyright owner's permission. The images on this photo gallery page are safe for your use.
I try to include a nice selection of animals. birds, plants and nature scenes on these photo gallery pages. And I pick those photos I think are of great quality.
