This U.S. government site has free tip sheets on keeping a backyard pond, wetland and backyard habitat.

Gardening for Wildlife - National Wildlife Foundation
This is a good place to find information on providing food, water, cover and places to raise young.

Backyard Wildlife Habitat
The National Wildlife Foundation has a program where you can have your backyard certified a wildlife sanctuary. My backyard has been certified. On the site you will find out how to go about it.
